If Liz were to pick a song that encapsulates her worldview, it would probably be Chumbawamba's "Tubthumping." Not only because the 90s define her youth as a Millennial & because she has a morbid curiosity for pop culture, but because no matter how many times she gets knocked down, she gets right back up again.
Liz draws her tenacity from a diverse background of experience and expertise. The first born daughter of immigrants, a sexual abuse and trauma survivor, and a member of the LGBTQ community, Liz has contributed significantly to her variety of roles, which have included single-handedly saving the OUTFEST film festival in LA, ghostwriting for a well known blog, running her own photography business, and social media management for Dogster and Catster.
In her spare time, Liz has been invited to read at notable literary events around the San Francisco bay area, presented her social media knowledge at conferences, consulted on crowdfunding campaigns, and dedicated herself to building community. She likes to ride her bike around the city pretending she’s in the Death Star trench scene from Star Wars and she is almost exclusively powered by coffee.
